Traffic in the Port

Care should always be taken while driving within the port areas and speeds reduced appropriate to the conditions. Heavy cargo handling equipment may be encountered in all areas at any time. Cargo handling equipment has restricted visibility and motor vehicles should pull over, give way, or stop to ensure maximum clearance. NOTE: MANY HEAVY MACHINE OPERATORS MAY NOT BE ABLE TO SEE YOU. Parking is confined to designated parking areas. Under no circumstances are vehicles permitted to drive along the berths past working vessels.
