Two companies namely Sifa Investment Company and East Global Logistics were entrusted with the transportation of the wind turbine components from the Port of Mombasa to Kajiado.

Sifa Investment Coordinator of the project Mr. Tawfiq S. Mohammed lauded the Kenya Ports Authority saying it had proved to offer a high degree of efficient services in the entire operations from the first to the sixth dispatch.

"The operations require extra precaution while discharging because we have sensitive cargo like transformers and throughout all these stages the KPA team has been impressive ensuring that we securely discharge the cargo from the ship on to the trucks," he said.
