RE: NOTICE TO MARINERS NO.001/05(T)

BA CHART 3362 refers.

Mariners are cautioned to take note of two new Oceanographic

data acquisition buoys which have been deployed at depths of

2,100 metres in approximate position:

Latitude:      01˚ 58.’4 S

Longitude: 041˚ 52.’42E

The buoys are yellow in colour and are un-lit.

The buoys will be in position for approximately 12 months from

date of deployment.

Mariners are therefore cautioned to keep clear of the buoys to

avoid any potential collision and damage to buoys and fitted sensors.

Fishing and Trawling is prohibited within a radius of 5nm of the position.
